Training season for 2009 has started! "Boob Camp Bekki" got us all out a few weekends ago for a quick walk around Santee Lakes.
It was good to get out and get walking. It was kind of fun to be the "old pro" and answer the newbies' questions but mostly, it was good to be around the wonderful gals who'd welcomed me in a newbie last year and exchange 3 day stories! I'm going on another training walk tomorrow, so I'd better get to bed!

I'm so proud of you!!! (Would you pretty please (with a pink cherry on top!!!) tell these ladies about wicking material for their walking duds? It pains me to think about the chafing and such that will occur if they're still wearing cotton! Thank you!)

Yes, the 3 day heavily promotes non-chaffing and is all about wicking from head to toe. I think that spandex is the least sexiest material out there. But, then again being sexy comes from within. I was way Too Sexy for Juan Street Hill even in all of my spandex, non-chaffing, wicking glory. I'm also a huge fan of Glide!
